Hey guys, have yet to post something about my truck but wanted to share it with you guys. Nothing special to be honest. She was given to me stock about 3 years ago and the first thing i wanted to do was modify her. The truck has over 200,000 miles on it and i plan on doing an engine swap soon. I plan on putting in a 350 Small Block from JEGS and rebuilding the stock transmission with a different gear ratio. The truck has some rust and is getting repaired very soon. I don't have any stock pictures of the truck but if you google "Stock second generation S10" you'll find them. Down below are a list of all modifications done to the truck. Tell me what you guys think. Thanks for looking! Please share some feedback!

Exterior Modifications:

1. Front bowtie painted black
2. Crystal clear headlight housing with LED headlight lamps
3. LED turn signal bumpers smoked
4. LED pods for fog lights with RGB halo rings
5. Debadged and detrimmed
6. LED tail lights
7. Roll pan (is going to get color matched)
8. 5% window tint all the way around with 35% tint on the windshield
9. 3" BDS lift with KYB gas shocks and all new ball joints
10. 15x8 Fuel Lethal wheels wrapped in 30x9.5R15 General Grabber AT2s with 1" wheel spacers
11. Rhino Lined Bed
12. LED tailgate bar
13. LED license plate light
14. Flowmaster 40 series muffler
15. Window vent visors
16. Antenna cap

Interior Modifications:

1. New Pioneer DEH-X6500BT radio
2. 2 12" Kicker COMPR subwoofers with Kicker speakers
3. All LED interior lights
4. Cobra Radar detector and PLX gauge monitoring system

Lol, we actually get a lot of salt here in northern Indiana. For being 19 years old and having 200k on her she's pretty clean. It's been family owned since day one so that's part of the reason.

What model of the radar detector do you have and how well has it worked out for you?

I use the Cobra XRS-9570 and it is honestly amazing. I don't race with my truck but every single time i pass a cop it goes off. The farthest range i've had it detect a cop is probably 100 yards. The only downside to any radar detector really is the false alerts. If i pass by a bank it goes off. If i pass by a car with reverse sensors it goes off. Kind of annoying but it has saved me from many tickets. Here's a link if you're interested: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
