Now that everything has been announced, what do you think of ryzen?

I personally think Intel will need to hit out big next launch looking at the tests

I know we will need to wait until we see some impartial benchmarks but it's interesting

Not everything has been announced. We only have confirmation of the 3 high end/enthusiast SKU's, no pricing or release date for the lower end parts.

I think it's interesting and it's amazing that there's finally some competition in the CPU market, but it could easily still be a flop. I'm sick of people saying that Ryzen is going to crush Intel, no one can call that yet. We need to wait until Ryzen chips are out there so we can see benchmarks and comparisons between similarly priced Intel chips. There's a very good chance Ryzen could be the go to for multi-tasking systems, and workstations but Intel could still be the go to for gamers.

I agree w/ 13 can't be the Intel killer till It shows that it tops intel at most angles.

Ive had intel in my machine since 2012 and I always buy intel while ryzen has taken my eyes away from the money hungry company that is intel I still can't see how people are sold so quickly that these new parts are gonna be able to out preform intel right away.

And once again as 13 said this could be hardware for workspaces and artists but it may not appeal to gamers as we see it now.

As said in previous post above, i agree with them. I hope that that these chips live up to the hype, so that means more for the consumer. Competition means bigger increases in performance and usually better prices. As we've seen intel has had such high prices without competition from AMD in the past years. My hope is that things will soon be different if AMD can continue to keep up with intel or if not somewhat better
