Hey there, welcome to the TotalRS discord thread! Today I would like to personally invite you to a brand new discord for the game of Runescape. I have been thinking lately of trying to find a way to connect with players and people who would like to get into runescape, and I figured this would be the best way even if you are trying to boss, talk, or mess around with some people this is the place to do it in the brand new community! The chat as of right now is fairly new and we are still setting up but are ready to get others to join, maybe you know what discord is maybe you do not, but today I will help you learn and why you should join!

What is Discord
Discord is an app that you may or may not be familiar with, it basically is like teamspeak, skype, raidcall and several other programs but it's easier to use it is compact and it's all in one place! From creating voice channels to text channels and speaking in real time with other people there is no reason not to be part of the community! It is setup for everyone to enjoy and moderated by users who are willing to take time to make sure severe inappropriate language isn't spread and that hate isn't something that will be a main focus.

Why should I join?
If you are looking for a group of players, or have friends and would like to meet up with more even if it is just to chat or voice chat this is the perfect program. I have been part of several runescape clans and other games that have channels for the communities that are a fan and it would be wonderful to get a huge amount of players to discuss runescape content. It might not be the most unique channel but it has the potential to tower above the rest and you could be the users that start pushing us in the correct direction.

When you say Runescape, what version?
Personally, I play the oldschool variant of Runescape but I enjoy both version that are in existence and I would not want to split it up by forcing you to only play oldschool or talk about oldschool! I have added text and voice channels for each of the different games and a role that could help identify which game you play so you don't get the two mixed up!
