XeRetro is about to give me an account so big props to him, and I was wondering what tips there is for not getting banned?

The only top tip would be to not buy it, there is no way to avoid it. You will most likely get banned/reset
In that case, hope for the best

If the account was created within the last 10 days it will more than likely be banned

HOW TO AVOID BEING BANNED: DO NOT PURCHASE MODDED ACCOUNTS, YOU ARE WELCOME!
Pretty much all accounts that are being sold now are accounts that have recently being made, you cannot prevent being banned..

heres a real answer unlike what the users above gave.
#1: Unlink Social Club - Rockstar uses Social Club to ban from the online servers. Usually you'll only need to unlink during ban waves.
#2: Don't transfer huge sums of money via the bank - Personally, I don't see a need to even move money out of your bank. Rockstar has an Anti-Cheat system built in, so if you transfer more then a few million $$$$$, Your account will get flagged for review.
#3: DO NOT BRAG ABOUT HAVING A MODDED ACCOUNT - Self explanatory.
#4: Don't spend all your money right away - and do spend to much at one time try to take things slowly
#5: STATS!!! - If you are gonna spend a bunch of money on your modded account, the most important thing is your stats. Have legitimate stats. I hate seeing people spend $50+ on a modded account with a (I.e) 9999999.8KD.
