You cannot switch your gamertag if your gamertag is banned, that's what I get from your post.. pretty sure you're saying your GT was banned, but you want to use that GT on GTA ( not possible )

My gamertag is not banned.. Only my GTA V Online account

Then, even easier no you cannot swap it to unban your account.. If your GTA account is banned, then it's banned.. Nothing you can do.

I understand this just make sure that you don't lose your GT in the process, Yes this should work though since it's a new account and all.
