So i have been noticing with YouTube lately on my ipad that when i am a certain point in videos it messes up and starts playing random parts of the video from the beginning. I've sent YouTube a message telling them about the issue but they seemed to not care as they literally told me "to update my app" which it is, and "restart my ipad" which i have done multiple times. The app is up to date and my ipad is also.

So im wondering if anyone else has been having issues like these or similar?

Of course they're not gonna care. Have you tried deleting the app and redownloading?

Ive done all the basic troubleshooting things.

Have you tried checking your settings on YouTube?

That's the same thing that happens to me . I also use an iPad. Never found a way to fix it tho.

Happens to me once in a while, i just go into my history and rewatch it
