So I just got banned from Multiplayer for Modern Warfare Remastered.. and I do not know why. Here is the message,

"This profile (Gamertag) has been banned from using the following features due to a violation of the posted Security & Enforcement Policy. For more information, visit [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .

Multiplayer Gameplay"

I've boosted a few times before but it's been a good month or so since I've boosted.
I am extremely good at public match Domination games, as I am usually always at the top of the leaderboards and typically go on 25 kill streaks (or around there) quite often.. could it be that many people thought that I could possibly be hacking and reported me?

I've looked on Activision's website, at their "Security & Enforcement Policy" and each of the examples of messages that are shown do not match the one I have. And it says for Boosting that the first offense is a temporary suspension.. and this is the first time this has happened so it can't be for the Boosting..

Does anyone know why I could have possibly been banned?

I've never heard of anyone getting banned. There is no modding on MWR right?

More than likely this is the reason. They have been cracking down on cheaters, maybe next time just play legit.

Boosting, OP they've been banning and resetting booster for a while now. They just finally caught up to you.

Like I said, it was only a few times.. and it says right on the website that the first time is temporary ban an stats reset, not a permanent ban.. I love this game and I've gone through so many prestiges legitly and ive spent over $100 on cod points for supply drops, because I enjoy playing this game very much.. to see it all fall apart just crushes me

I totally understand, if I were in your situation I would be upset also. You have to remember that breaking the rules for anything can result in consequences. You seem to be good at the game so why boost in the first place?

Unfortunately we can't do much for you, but creating a new account might be the best bet. Sorry!

As I was banned too:

- you don't lose any depot stuff
- you are definitely temp banned for 48 hours
- the message that comes up, just press X/A again and again then there is an other message showing the right time (while you try to connect to mp)
- yes Boosting us the reason

I remember boosting on BO1 and then not doing it for a while then got banned like 3/4 weeks later. there never that quick to ban for boosting

dont matter if you boost once or 10 times, boosting is boosting, dont see why people do it anyway
