my PS3 keeps timing out whenever i try to obtain my ip address, I've tried resetting my PS3 and my router but I've had no luck yet, if anyone knows what the problem is or how to fix it and can tell me that would be great

Yo man, this happened to me couple days ago, PSN IP banned me I couldn't go online on my PS3/PS4 so I called my ISP and asked them to change my IP and now I can sign In fine.

Dunno if this is your case but that's what happened to me.
