So i've got this 144hz monitor and everytime i want to change it to 144hz it wont let me and it only goes to 120hz, and everytime i change it to 120hz a thing pops up in the bottom right of my screen saying "Incorrect cable. Please use the DVI dual-link cable that came with your monitor"

I dont know why its says this even though all the cables that came with the monitor is plugged into the monitor.

If anyone can help me sort this i'll be suprised because i've done everything and cant find away to fix it.

Not that it's bad, I think it's because of maybe Dual DVI compatibility.

Either it's a bad cable or your video card doesn't support Dual DVI link, but probably a single link.
