Depends on the sort of channel you are. Do something unique and something that grabs your audience. Please DONT do that annoying intro with the 3D text that moves around to dubstep music, its annoying and so overly used (seriously every youtuber does it).
You dont have to if you dont want to but if you want to quickly look at my latest vid it has an intro im really proud of. I am a funny moments gaming channel, and i believe my "movie" style intro I did in this vid is a lot more unique and captivating. Have a look for some inspiration.
