i cannot connect to xbox live. i usually get this error once a month and usually, i can do what it tells me and ill be back online. but it is not working today. Xbox tells me to "unplug the power from your router or modem for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. wait another 30 seconds. when ready, check again" what is wrong with my xbox why do i constantly face this error its ridiculous. i have tried wired and wireless connection both give me errors. anyone else get or got this?

Have you tried hard resetting your console? While your console is on, press and hold the power for about 15 seconds. Let go and power it back on. Let us know if that works

Well from your first post you've already done it so I doubt doing it again will fix the issue. Do you have your settings on your Xbox set to automatic everything or did you manual enter any IP's?

You could also try Go Offline option under Settings, restart the console, then Go Online in Settings. See if that will work.

Still same issue with going offline on the console, restarting, and going online again?

This was hard to read, DNS your DNS wasn't responding which likely means there is a lease error with your router, i.e mine is set for every hour but fresh is set for every 10 hours.

A simple fix to your issue would be a connection reset, and googles name servers, they're relatively fast but don't use them as your main all the time.

Another easy fix would be just a direct connection much rather than WiFi
