After a couple of years of gaming on my pc that currently is running on an AMD FX-4300 with a horribly underpowered, and out of date piece... an R7 270 (idk exactly AMD ui tells me R7 2xx series), I have gotten a couple pieces of hardware I had purchased from one of my shops I.T.s. The upgrade consists of a better psu, going from a Sparkle 320w to a Corsair TX850w (bought for $50) and a Gigabyte GTX 660 ti 2gb OC (also $50) i am currently beginning the process after this post. If i could get any feedback on whether or not this is a good combo or if i might have problems down the road. All is appreciated.

PSU is nothing special but it's a huge upgrade from what you had. There is no R7 270. R7 2xx is R7 240, R7 250, R7 260(x), and R7 265. GTX 660Ti is an older card, and if you were running a 260x or 265 beforehand, a 660Ti would be a downgrade. If you were running an R7 240 or 250, then the 660Ti would perform better but it's still not a great card.

Your CPU could probably do with an upgrade but I'd just wait for Zen at this point.

just further checked its a 240. I boot up WoW and it informs me that my graphics card doesnt meet minimum specs and runs at like 24 fps. and i knew this was an older card but isnt final upgrade. more along the lines of a life raft lol
