So I'm looking to upgrade some parts of my PC.

I want to maybe upgrade my processor (if it's worth it). I currently have AMD FX - 6350 3.90 GHz on a GIGABYTE 78LMT - USB3 Motherboard with a be quiet! fan. I'm not too sure if there will be any benefits with upgrading my processor but the one I have now is fairly old.

I'm also looking into getting a better graphics card. I currently have a GeForce GTX 750 Ti, which is a great nippy card but I am noticing it struggles abit on Ultra graphics etc.

I know upgrades can depend on the power supply as well, so I currently have a Corsair VS650. I don't really want to upgrade this but if it's a must, then I will.

The games I usually play are American/Euro truck simulator, cities skylines, assetto corsa etc. which would look amazing if my PC could handle the ultra settings which currently cannot without frame rate drop.

Any ideas/suggestions on what to upgrade to will be greatly appreciated. I am also working towards the £300 - £350 GBP budget. If it makes sense to go abit over that then I may consider it.

Thank you in advance

It's definitely worth upgrading your CPU. However, Zen and Kaby Lake are right around the corner so I'd hold on to your FX-6350 for now, until Zen and/or Kaby Lake release. GPU upgrade would be wise, and you could do that now. Unless you're looking for a high end card, then I'd wait since Vega and the 1080Ti should be pretty near. Your current PSU is not good quality so it's definitely worth an upgrade, but it'd do the job most likely. We need to know what case you have to make sure what we suggest is compatible. Also, what is your storage situation like?

Storage: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (£59.99 @ Amazon UK)
Video Card: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (£137.99 @ Ebuyer)
Power Supply: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (£90.72 @ CCL Computers)
Total: £288.70

The PSU would be a nice upgrade but not necessary right now. You could get a Gigabyte 6GB GTX 1060 for an extra £85 instead of the 1050Ti if you wanted.

Okay thank you for that ^ also, if I didn't want to wait, what processor do you think would be a good one to upgrade to?
