I've just brought the first Modern Warfare on PC after playing an 'alternate' version for a couple days. Turns out the Steam version is exactly the same, guess i should have looked into it.
Question is, What's MW2 like on PC?, I love these older CoD games but they don't seem that great on PC.
-Can you prestige on it or is it like MW?
-Also, does it run through a server list like CoD4 or is it like matchmaking like console?
-Does anyone also know if its active on PC?, after just the few days playing CoD4 I've hit 55 and am already bored of trying to just grind camo

It's pretty dead on PC. A lot of hacks. I had it for a while but hated it. Yes you can prestige. Also it is like console for matchmaking I believe.

ahhh okay, thank you, pretty annoyed with CoD4 being the same lol, might pass if its dead.
