So, I was wondering if this is a good build for starting off as a PC Gamer, recording games, and for Video Editing & Rendering.

What would I be playing?
Grand Theft Auto V, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, Minecraft, American Truck Simulator, and a few other unimportant games.

I would be using Sony Vegas Pro to edit my videos and rendering out at 720p 30fps.
And I would be using OBS to record games such as Grand Theft Auto V at 720p 30fps.

I do not need any peripherals, other than an OS (which is in the build).

My budget is preferably $400, but I can go up to $550 range (currency is USD).

If you have any suggestions or completely disagree with the build or know how I can get a better bang for my buck, please let me know! I would love some feedback for starting out as a PC gamer/recorder/editor etc. Thank you

If you have an old computer, I'd recommend recording with a capture card of some sort. Footage will probably be easier to work with and less strain on the GPU.

The old computer would be there, just to store the footage. Then take to this PC and do your best. 4-500$ is only good for gaming tbh, rendering will probably still take a minute.

What I'm working with now is a laptop, but I don't have a capture card and don't plan on getting one. Thank you for the advice though. The only problem with recording with my laptop is it takes the crap out of the CPU, so I'm looking to get a desktop so then I could upgrade whenever and such.

The capture card will take most of the load off of your CPU. Just make sure it saves as some raw format.

I'd rather spend money on something worth it rather than something that isn't worth it. A capture card is not worth it in my eyes when I could just buy a brand new desktop where I can upgrade it whenever and not have to worry about anything being bad quality and such. Thanks though

I dont know if you are worried about it looking nice didnt pay attention if case had a window but I think this would be good for your budget others that know more than me might disagree tho.
