So when I first made my YouTube channel I named it 'Eden', and yesterday I was looking to see if I was the only channel and I found a channel with around 5k subs and active uploads. So I went to change my name to something that only I had, and I went with my username that I use on Steam and Xbox; 'EdenW99' and I might just be impatient but it's been 24 hours and it has still not updated.

If anyone knows how to fix this please respond.

EDIT: turns out I was just impatient, it's now updated.
Also I am unable to delete this post so please feel free to close this topic if you wish.

Be sure to change it on Google plus. You have to change it on there for it to update YouTube.

Thanks, turns out it was just me being impatient, it has now updated on YT on Google+
