Hi, I have been buying games with a friend for a while now and I have put my account as his home xbox so he also gets the games. What I'm about to do is buy a game off g2a and redeem it on my Xbox but I'm not sure if my friend will also get the game?

Baiscially my question is do games have to be purchased off the official xbox store to work with a licence transfer/home xbox or can codes from g2a work?

Codes will work also watch out if your doing the gamesharing on here you could be banned as its against the rules.
