My Xbox 360 is from 2012/13..
It appears to read and play any discs or games I put in but unfortunately it seriously dislikes GTA V? I bought the game a few weeks back and it installed the play disc said clean disc.. it was immaculate brand new.. I uninstalled it and did a clear cache etc tried again but this time the GTA V install wouldn't even load just a blank screen same goes for the play disc.. I bought it again a week or two ago and tried playing it about 3/4 days ago it just loaded a blank screen I have tried numerous hard drives to install on yet not one will even load the disc I have cleaned my laser with a bud like I've done before in the past it just literally will not read that specific game?? Any help would be appreciated thanks!!

When you put it in does it say reading

Check the disk could be damaged or needs new laser

The game reads jut loads a blank screen it's not the disc I have 2 brand new copies neither work.. the laser is fine it reads literally any other game

If you definitely are sure that it's not the disc or the drive causing this then
Try Clearing the Game Data:
make sure that you have stuff backed up if need be.
1. Go to Settings, and select System Settings.
2. Select Storage or Memory.
3. Highlight any storage device, and then press A on your controller.
4. Select Games and Apps.
5. Scroll through the list until you find the game you want to clear the data, once you find it press A on your controller.
6. Delete any game related files which are not "save" files, if these files are deleted they cannot be recovered.
7. Once all of the files have been deleted, go back to the Xbox Dashboard Home.
8. Reboot the game.
If this is still happening try it on a second 360 to see if the same issue is occurring.

Had the same problem with my jasper, was straight up the laser, worked better than a **** charm.
