Hi everyone,
I am looking for suggestion of new plants to add to my aquarium or just any suggestions in general!


I recently got into the hobby of fish keeping so I do not have everything. Right now I have planted+ 24/7 for my lighting, and have a basic gravel and sand substrate. I also have a c-160 marine land canister filter. I am soon to be adding a DIY co2 system to make my little plants grow quick. As for fertilizers I have a bottle of seachem equilibrium. Plus I have 1 pound bags of Potassium nitrate and mono-potassium phosphate. The plants in the tank right are s repens, amazon sword, bacopa, and Italian jungle val. My tank just finished the nitrogen cycle, so I plan on adding more fish this coming weekend.

Anyways..here is my tank!!

I would really recommend Hornwart and purple waffle plants. I am about to buy my own CO2 system for my 40 gallon fresh. Here is part of mine:

Just curious is it a salt or freshwater tank. Very nice BTW

Thanks guys!! Yeah this is a fresh water, I plan on eventually having a saltwater, but I want to get some experience on my hands first.

That's a really nice setup, I am going to have to look into adding some those to my tank
