Anyone have any ideas why i cant connect my controller it says the device is working properly but theres no light on the controller

Try to go to 'Device Manager', and go to the controller. Right click 'Update Driver Software', from there go 'Browse my computer for software', 'Let me pick from a list', and try 'Xbox Gaming Device Ver. 10'
I've had issues before where it fails to connect or doesn't turn on, but this generally fixed it for me.
