Specs:
i5 6600k 3.5 ghz,
GTX 960 FTW edition,
16GB RAM,
5Mbp/s Upload

If any more pc information is needed I can provide it.

I can easily set up my stream for most games by myself pretty easily, but high motion games such as csgo are hard for me to find the right settings.

Here is an example of my first test stream from last night with this new build :

As you can see the quality is pretty good, but it's also a bit choppy and laggy.

I was running with 3500 bitrate, and was also changing values around a bit and nothing really seemed to help.

Using x264 encoding, and running veryfast.

Use CBR and CBR padding are enabled. Not using custom buffer size.

1920x1080 downscaled to 1280x720 as my set resolution options.

Currently at work, if any more settings information is needed I might be able to remember off the top of my head, but I believe I've provided enough info.

Thanks!

I would recommend you to first put FPS down to 30 fps as it is just unnecessary unless you are partnered.

Then lower your bitrate to around 3000 KB/s and enable a custom buffer size which you set to 3000 KB/s as well!

Try and see if it works well: Lower the encoding setting from veryfast to fast and see how that performs.

And for the video quality!

Make sure on the downscaling option you select the lanczos filter!
It really does not hit much on your performance and improves the stream quality a ton.

If you still need more help, just PM me

Try setting your encoder to NVENC H.264, bit rate to 2500, rate control to CBR, and keyframe interval to 2. See if that helps at all. I was dropping a lot of frames before and switched my settings up and now I don't drop frames at all and maintain HD quality.
