Would there be any point of getting wired connecting for playing Xbox online would I notice a difference?

It makes a difference but it isn't completely necessary. If you can play wired, you should.

For me i use wired most of the time and i can tell the difference when i dont use it, so yeah i recomend using an ethernet cable, also the smaller the cable the better it will be

I played wired for PC makes a huge difference for that I've never tried it on Xbox

If your internet connection is really bad, it won't suddenly increase performance.

Wired vs wireless is mostly about latency and signal strength.
Wired will often result in higher speeds but not enough to be too bothered by it.

I always try to use my ethernet cable where I can though.

Wired is more of a direct connection to your router.

rather then the wireless delay. its not noticeable unless what you're doing has to be updated quickly.

Oh yea for me when I had wired internet my stuff worked great. Once I switched over to wireless my connection turned straight shit.

Personally for me a wired xbox connection had a massive improvement on wireless, so I would say so
