I would hope with a 1800GBP budget, you'd add a 4k monitor

Quite a bit of money to spend on a computer bud, hope you know what you're doing.

I wouldn't spend that much on a PC intended to run CSGO though, especially if I didn't even know about them that well. You could make one with a 970 or a 390 and max all games you listed.

Builds above are good, but I'd get something along the lines of this if you insist. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Went a tad bit over budget to give you a monster build since you're spending this much. If you need, cut back on the case, case fans or video card.

Wrong currency. GTX 1080 isn't really worth the premium over the 1070. Only 250GB storage and 8GB RAM in an $1800 rig? Ew. PSU is ridiculously over-kill. 650W would be enough for SLI 1080s, 1000W is totally unnecessary. Plus, you forgot monitor.

Again, GTX 1080 isn't worth the premium over a 1070. That PSU is absolutely horrific, and does not belong in any rig, never mind an £1800 system. 1080p TN monitor made me lol. Also, those fans are pretty terrible. I had 'em and got rid of 'em within like 10 days because they were loud and not very good.

OP- Your budget deserves a 4k monitor, hands down.

Nice 4k monitor, SLI support, AIO in case you want to OC the i7. You don't really need the i7, an i5-6600k(or i5-6500 if you're not overclocking) would most likely be perfectly fine.

Alternative monitor choice;

Alright, thanks for the advice then. Never got around to checking benchmarks of the new cards. As for the fans, they look good and work fine. I have 6 in my current. What's wrong with the PSU?

And I assumed he'd want upgrades to something in the rig rather than a monitor.

Like I said, I had those Corsair fans and had a much better experience when I swapped them out for good fans. There are much better choices for case fans, but OP doesn't really need to buy case fans since included fans will be fine.

Not much point spending money on good components to run a 1080p monitor. OP can easily afford 4k, or 1440p 120Hz+ so 1080p would be ridiculous with this budget. Especially when it's a TN panel.
