Regular lurker on this site but i don't post much, a massive fan of the franchise Football Manager and wondered if anyone else played it? Its a game thats VERY popular, think its something like the 5th most played game on steam but there doesn't seem to be much of a 'community' which is surprising as its a game which a lot of people like to play, talk about and compare

New member to the forums, I'm quite a hot and cold football manager gamer
I will start a new career and play for days/weeks straight and then not touch it for months, dont know if you the same
My favourite mode is the create a club mode (Shortened version), sign loads of the "wonder kids" found online and try and stay in the PL as one of the less reputable clubs
(Also my mate plays for Barnet so I sign him as well)
Overall best players on the game (Mid-Prem club)
- Shane Long (First on the list available in Jan window for £3mil, scored 20 goals + in 2nd half of the season including 4 in one half)
- Tevez (really cheap when creating a club (only 4 million)
- Cillisen (GoalKeeper cheap and really good)
- Dembele (Unit!)
- Hummels (Cheap because of contract scenario like Gunduan)
Some of the wonder kids;
- Gonzalo Guedes (I think thats his name is brilliant)
- Youri Tielemans (Massive potential in real life and in the game)
Players to avoid;
- Pato (he will just get injured straight away)
- Adebeyor (more useless in game than real life)
Would be good to get a FM community going, especially with 2017 just a month or so away
