Hey guys, I've got a normal xbox one remote that I've had for about a year, its worked fine since I got it but for some reason it's randomly broke. I have fully charged batteries in them and when I try and turn it on it says the batteries are low and then turns off. Even when I plug it into the xbox with a usb it won't turn on? Any ideas guys?

Could be a faulty controller - would recommend buying a new one.

Try calling xbox support to see if they'll replace it or if you can send it in before dropping $50 on a new one

I've watch a lot of YouTube vids and no one seems to have the same problem as me. I hold the middle button in and it'll flash for a second then slowly die. Its as if I have low batteries but I don't. I have tried fresh batteries from the packet and I've also tried using a usb cable to power it and it still died. Any ideas guys?

It could be a problem with the battery pack or wiring that connects the battery pack to the controller.

I remember having this problem back on Xbox 360 with one of my controllers.

Power cycle your Xbox, disconnect the cable from the controller and take the batteries or the pack out. Then plug in the cable back into the controller, then continuously press the sync button on the console and controller. Eventually the controller will turn on and connect.
