Sorry if this is wrong section

Hello I am creating a gaming website and have a few questions.

Reviews: would it be ok for me to post reviews and posting images about games for example.
Posting this image: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Then writing a review about the game details, pro's, cons etc?

2. Would it also be ok for me to make post news about upcoming and new releases using images of the game and writing about it?

There necessary would be no problem with that, though it would depend on the country you live in and their copyright laws. Under wherever you live's Fair Use Act you should be entitled to use that image as long as it isn't subject to copyright, which it may be as there is a little watermark which I can't read. As long as you aren't making profit off the content creator without consulting them first you will have no issues whatsoever as it's covered under your country's Fair Use Act

Thanks for your reply

So i can take images made direct from the makers themselves such as there game case images or the ones they advertise there games with?

Do i just make there there is no watermark or tm/reg mark in the logo?

As this is only free advertising for them right? where would i get images that are safe for website use?

An image of a game will never be copyrighted, the main images that are subject to copyright are photos taken by professional photographers of celebrities, sports stars playing etc. Under the Fair Use Act you are free to use images of video game cases since you are just writing your opinion, which you are totally entitled to.

The only way you could get in legal strife is claiming, this is the game I developed "Black Ops III" as you didn't. Feel free to make a review, and if you find you're good at it, you could become a game reviewer for The Tech Game. Best of luck with your review man!! and if you have any further questions feel free to reply again as I would be more than happy to help
