I was just wondering since my friends and I have played every call of duty (me being above average a little and him being below average) is it too early to hate on infinite warfare? my wasn't a fan of AW but BO3 fixed that but its just not the same as boots on the ground.

Absolutely.

There hasn't even been any gameplay of the game yet, and people are already hating on it.

I'm not happy about the futuristic setting that the game has, but I won't criticize the game until I see some type of gameplay.

Easy answer, yes. Before BO3 came out plenty of people would bash on it because of the whole jump-movement and now that it's out, plenty of people enjoy it. It's far too early for people to saying anything.

They wouldn't release clips, trailers and information if they didn't want to hear the opinions of their target audience. Everyone has every right to comment and voice their opinion of what they've seen, it's Infinity Ward's job to ensure they put out information and trailers to quash any negativity towards the game and capture attention for the right reasons.

If nobody judged games before release, developers would release a disk of what they want and not what their customers want. It's bad business like that and i'm sure it might hurt seeing negative comments but it's the only way they can improve and give people what they want.

While trailers can be useful to see actual footage of the gameplay, they don't really give you a hands on feel of the game. In my opinion, a game has to be played and tested in all aspects such as multiplayer, campaign, and zombies before properly being judged by the community that supports this product. I was not really a fan of AW so I was worried about BO3 being bad. Once I actually played the game, it changed my mind completely. I enjoyed the movement system despite not caring for the exo suits in AW. Testing the game gave me a proper feel and experience for me to know what the game was truly like. This is just my opinion and everybody is entitled to one so if you wish to judge a game early than go ahead.

The game is already done. There is no more developing to do other than to MAYBE add last minute touches. What people don't like is the futuristic nonsense we've seen for the last 4 years, and they're not going to change that for obvious reasons.

Of course it is too early to judge. We still have 5 months before the game is released. You can't judge it without playing it. It's like judging a book by it's cover.
