So some of you will and some of you won't know that May 19th and all of May is IBD awareness month, basically a little bit of info on IBD for people who may have not heard of it before. IBD is Inflammatory Bowel Disorder. Mainly in the form of Crohns or Colitis, both can be very difficult to live with and many people will just associate IBD with poop (crap etc) but it is so very much more, weight loss, fatigue (both mentally and physically) joint pain are just a few to name. The amount of tablets you take on daily and some people may have to take injections to help keep the inflammation down to keep their daily life as "normal" as possible, even then you will have days where you will have to take the day off School/College/Work as it is physically impossible to leave your house, there is no other way around this.

The reason why I am making this post is because I myself have Crohn's and have had it for 4 years this month actually, and wanted to know if anyone else on TTG has IBD of some sort. I would consider myself lucky as I've been to hospital about 3 times in my 4 year span, no talk of surgery of any kind and certainly no talk of a bag being in place of my bowels. So I would consider myself lucky for now until that time ever comes around to bite me.

If you know anyone with IBD/IBS or you yourself has it, comment below about it and I'd be happy to help if anyone needs it and learn more about it as not one person can know enough about one thing
