I posted this elsewhere, and figured I may as well post it here. The player reviews thread is completely dead, hence why I'm just general posting. This card is a game changer.

Today I will be reviewing TOTS Busquets. I've been looking forward to an IF Busquets since about February, and once I saw he was confirmed for the MC Draft, I knew I had to have him. I'm currently using him in a 4-3-1-2 as the CCM. It won't let me link to futhead without auto moving the post to the daily squad thread, so the team is Trapp Kurzawa TOTY Silva Pique TOTY Alves Matudi TOTS Busquets Iniesta Litmanen Ibra Suarez

Cost: He is currently 189K (180K) xbox and 219K (205K) PS This is more than he is worth, and I was trigger happy not caring about losing coins for I will be using him for the remainder of FIFA. I'd expect him to level out around 100K, especially if he is re-released with La Liga TOTS.
Stats 26 games (long night last night with squad fitness cards) 4 goals 16 assists

Pace Significant pace upgrade from his NIF which is visible in game. He still feels like a garbage truck, compared to the semi truck his NIF was. Don't expect him to be making any special runs.

Shooting Nothing special at all. Don't see much of a difference from his NIF. I don't often take shots with Busquets, unless he is in the clear. He's bagged four goals me for, and most were from corners where I'd work the ball around and he was just in the right place at the right time (thanks to his 84 positioning).

Passing Now we are getting to the good stuff. Busquets is a passing machine, always finishing the match with 30+ completed passes, and averaging probably 2-3 unsuccessful passes per match. 93 short passing helps with build up, and 91 long passing allows Sergio to create chances to the strikers and CAM, quickly starting counter attacks. He is always a step behind the attack (due to low pace and always deep in the defense) and I find this incredibly beneficial. Suarez, Litmanen or Ibra come to multiple defenders, turn and dish back to Sergio who seems to always have space behind the attack, giving him time to pick out a spot on pass. If the game kept track of pass to assists, he would likely have 10-15 more of those.

Dribbling 91 ball control. Busquets can keep possession with the best of them. He's not quick on the ball, nor agile, and his 3* skills limit the amount of tricks up his sleeve, but hes a better dribbler than any other 6'2" CDM you will find. He also has low balance, which I don't find as too big of a problem.
Defense Busquets would make an insane CB, but does amazing holding the midfield. 93 interceptions seems like cheating. His 60 pace seems like 75 when cutting the passing lanes. Busquets doesn't lose many tackles, and seems to get to the ball whenever it is in his vicinity. He has great marking, and both his sliding and standing tackles are phenomenal. I can feel a significant difference in his defending from his NIF.

Physical He has amazing stamina, that was one of the first things I noticed about him. Running the entire match, and never having low stamina is crucial for CM's in the 4312. Technically not a box to box mid, he's plays more of the back 2/3's of the pitch. 81 strength is not a huge upgrade from his NIF and I don't really see a difference in game. His NIF was strong for me, don't get me wrong, but his TOTS is not any significantly stronger. His heading lacks, which is one downside. For a 6'2", strong defensive minded player, I'd expect better heading.

Pros Elite distributor and middle of pitch defender. High stamina and interceptions. Cons Mediocre heading (Not bad), Slow, poor shot

Busquets is one of my favorite players throughout fifa 16, and his TOTS is just so much sweeter than his NIF. I'd wait for his price to settle before picking him up, but he's definitely a solid choice for any elite La liga or spanish team
