So at the moment I am stuck between the MSI Nvidia GTX 960 4GB (£193.98) and the MSI AMD R9 380 4GB (£179.99).

I would be playing games at 1080p

Games such as:
Rust
Ark Survival
CSGO
The Division
The Culling
Star Wars
DayZ
BattleBorn

Also will be used for Graphics and video editing

Yeah, 380 is the better choice, but no need to pay more than £150-160 really.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] is currently on offer right now and it is an extremely good price for what you get!

You're getting a STRIX 4GB GDDR5 960 from ASUS, a FREE copy of Tomb Raider (retails for £40 GBP) & a FREE 240GB SSD from SanDisk (retails for £60 GBP). This is an extremely good deal right now, but I'm not sure how long the deal is going to last.

Hope this helps!

EDIT:

The 380 is a better card all round, so if you aren't bothered with Tomb Raider and the SSD, go for it!

Plus I don't really want to stray away from MSI as the other brands seem to overheat a lot more than the MSI brand

well that's not true they all perform pretty much the same if we're talking about the 380, it's mainly just the different designs.
