So I tried to do an overclock on my GTX 970 SSC two days ago and I did a benchmark. It stated that the Core was running at 3500 mhz and I thought it was wrong so I checked afterburner (It was running at +1000) so I quickly reset it back to "0". After that point I've been getting significantly less performance than when I bench marked without overclocking.

    Score before overclocking: 3000+
    Score after overclocking: ~2200

I have reset my computer, reinstalled windows, reinstalled my drivers and nothing seems to work. I am starting to believe that I may have ruined something on the card.

If there are any solutions that you believe would fix my problem, rep and a gift will be sent out if it works.

Have you noticed if it's running any hotter than before the OC'd it? If it is, since you have an EVGA card, replace the thermal paste.

As to why it's now performing worse, I have no idea. Never come across this before.

Check all of the specs are the same as factory, if they are they you may have damaged the card.

You may have gave it too much power at one point and it damaged it. Sadly now your warranty is void due to you OCing.

If I were in your shoes, right now, I would be very annoyed
