Hello, doods.

I got this game recently and I just got around to installing it today, just to find out on launching the game that the "auto detect" feature is non existent. I went online and found a way to fix the graphics via a .ini game file and now I can see the start up screen and the engine and things like that as well as hearing sound in game, but it gets to a black screen with the white loading Sam Fisher goggles spinning in the corner and it never moves past that. I have literally tried any and all things I found online about how to go about fixing the issue. If anyone could help me figure out what the hell the issue is, I would be forever in your debt.

Thanks.

If you have any questions about my rig, where the game is installed, what I have tried, etc etc feel free to ask. Thanks again.

Did you manually edit the .ini file

If you bought it on steam

Right click game > properties > local files >
"verify integrity of game cache"

Yes, I did manually edit the .ini file and tweaked the graphics. The game would start up, and I could hear the music for the menu, but couldn't see it.

After editing it I can see and hear the menu, but it freezes in the menu still.

I also tried verifying the game cache to no availe.
