I feel like you have a very biased view of what this game is, haha. To each their own; this game isn't for everyone.

This game has become much, much easier over time. Comparing the current RuneScape (RuneScape 3) and how the game was, say, 5 years ago, it has become much easier to progress. The evolution of combat has allowed for easier combat interactions, and the array of content that the game provides gives everyone a pain-free method to train the way they like. Overall, it only takes about 10 hours of real playing time to make a decent amount of money, as well as get a decent total skill level. With higher skill level comes larger amounts of money.

- Is it a boring game overall?
This is really dependent on how you feel. If you like(d) World of Warcraft, you will probably find this game fun. You start with next-to-nothing, and work your way up the scale to achieve more wealth and progress.

- What makes the game fun?
Once again, very dependent on how you feel. The reason that I fell in love with RuneScape is because it provides me with something to do at all times. Feel like slaughtering something? Go fight a boss with a friend or kill some slayer monsters. Want to make some quick money? Start farming herbs to make consistent, fast money. Want to bank-stand and do nothing? Join a social clan and do afk skills.

RuneScape has something to offer everyone, and I believe you should give it a try and let your own opinion be known. Best of luck!

Runescape is easy. If your playing osrs. I'd first go and get your levels up. Prefebly fishing and mining. This will gain you a few coins to buy armour and also practice and see around the map. Use the coins for cheap armour from the grand exchange. Like iron. Train on goblins or cows. Get your combat stats up then do a mixture in between. If tou want train a certain skill I would YouTube 1-99 for the skill you want even if you don't want the skill cape.

It is also time consuming. I've played since 2006 and ill tell you it's long. I have 99 everything and a lot of money. You learn as you go and you meet people who tell you what to do.
