I am trying to edit a couple of clips and I am wondering if anyone knows how to make the screen flash in the beat to the song. I am aware I would have to do it manually (make the screen flash white) but I do not know how to do so. I have watched a few beginners tutorials and I can't seem to find how to do it. I appreciate any help

just split the clip at the part you want it to flash and the end. Download Magic Bullet Look's for sony vegas and then use that ;)

From the clips you have, use M to make markers to go with the song or where you want the flashes.

Split the clips at those points a frame or two in between the split.

Apply a contrast or brightness effect to the split frames.

Put back together again and play.

No you don't need Magic Bullet Looks, that's just a colour correction add-on.
