A plane made an emergency landing in Cyprus. 1 armed hijacker, bomb apparently on board. 50+ passengers will provide more info when things come out, prayers with those innocent people
BBC- Flight from Alexandria to Cairo was taken over by at least one armed hijacker. They asked for the flight to land in Cyprus, an EgyptAir spokeswoman is quoted as saying. The Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation reports that 55 people are on board.
Sky- Civil Aviation Ministry says pilot of hijacked EgyptAir flight MS181 was threatened by a passenger with a suicide belt.
Sky- Cyprus state broadcaster: hijacker thought to be strapped with explosives and police have been asked to back away from plane
EgyptAir- Our flight MS181 is officially hijacked. We'll publish an official statement now.
Sky- No immediate demands have reportedly been made by hijacker.
Various- Hijacker told police to back away so he can let women and children off the plane.
Sky- 20 passengers released
Sky- 8 Britons and 10 Americans on board
EgyptAir- All passengers released except 5 foreigners and the cabin crew

Various reports suggesting that the man just wanted to give his ex wife a letter, who lives in Cyprus, not a terrorist attack at all, had no intentions of harming anyone.. he's just a selfish prick messing with passengers on board they're going to be scarred for life after an event like that if it's true of course.

I just read about this, and at one point I was shocked, but then I remembered that this world is crazy.
Hopefully, they will be able to sort this out without any damages.
