Anybody able to help me finda song? A friend of mine recently passed and I want to sit in my rrom with headphones on and listen to a song with lyrics that sound relate-able about death of a friend or something that will make me feel anything at all. Really appreciate any help

Well. Unfortunately some songs about grief will just make you more depressed. However, I understand the need to feel like the world understands what you're going through, so:

There is the obvious:

For the rock enthusiast:

For the classics fan:

For the rap fan:

The painful truth:

and just as a bonus, sometimes it's not about the lyrics. Sometimes you just need to stare at the wall and let your mind provide the substance of a song with your own memories and experiences.

You might be able to tell from my suggestions that I'm into older music, but here's some of what I listen to when I'm down (some of these have the theme of loss incorporated): Bob Dylan - "Boots of Spanish Leather"; Yo La Tengo - "I'll Be Around"; Led Zeo - "The Rain Song"; Pearl Jam - "Just Breathe"; Elliott Smith - "Between the Bars."

Just a few off the top of my head, message me if you dig these suggestions. Best wishes, man.
