I got mine from this guy on instagram @imodservice (hes not the cheapest but it came with a remote and everything for just 120$)

Basically, on eBay if you want to buy a PS3 Jailbreak and you're not sure if he's legit or not this is the steps I take to see if that seller is real or fake.
1. Check how many stars he's got
2. Check when he registered for eBay
3. Check his feedback from customers
4. Upload images to see if they're fake/ google images
5. Message the guy and ask him what console is he selling, and interact with him. You need to ask questions, make sure you're a experienced person and you know what you're asking him. Don't be a fool.

If you are buying from ebay then basically do everything that Dah mentioned. You could try and find someone that has multiple consoles for sale. I bought my 3.55 ps3 and jailbroke it myself but i cant remember who it was from.
