Ok so, I have a Lenovo Yogo 2, you're probably wondering why I have one of these, yes I do have a desktop gaming pc but I wanted something I could use everyday thats portable for when I travel etc...

The signal strength isn't the best on this laptop, it can only connect to 2Ghz wifi, and not 5Ghz, and yes my internet is really good, is there anything I can buy/do for the laptop to make the signal strength a little better, I've never really messed with laptops before, is there a better wifi card i can put in it ?

Both the Yoga 2 and 2 Pro seem to support dual band 2.4/5Ghz WiFi so i'd look and check to see if the networks you are connecting are actually 5Ghz capable.

Also due to the attenuation of 5Ghz signals, the range and penetration is not as good as 2.4Ghz so that may an issue for you aswell.
