Scissor wrote Conor did well to step up two weights! He will come back stronger. I'd like to see him get another belt! True champion

He ran his mouth a bit much, especially given who he was fighting. I wasn't happy to see him lose, but it's gonna help him to be humbled without losing his belt.

The result of the fight had nothing to do with weight. They both weigh near the same at around 175.

They were supposed to make no more than 170. Connor came in at 168lbs and Diaz at 169lbs and i agree, weight had nothing to do with it, although, i do believe since Diaz is at a higher weight division than connor, Diaz is used to being punch by more powerful opponents. Im not saying Connor is weak but even he said it, the punches he was throwing were enough to make his opponents stumble at his featherweight division where as Diaz took them good. Connors punches were landing and i believe if he would have been fighting someone from his division, he would have won. So i believe even though they were at the same weight class, one fighter is used to fighting at 145( connor) where the other is used to fighting at 170 ( diaz), to us weight isnt a big factor but for the fighters, its a huge factor, even though connor said weight had nothing to do with it, it does, even though connor looked in great shape, he was heavier than what he really should be at when fighting, meaning he would be slower and which is why he wasnt efficient with his energy

Connor is a superb fighter, he's determined. Fueled with ambition and prepared to do whatever it takes to achieve a victory. Sure he's lost, who hasn't in the past? There's only so long fighters can go in the game before they meet their match. Its simple, everyone stumbles at one point in their career. I don't see why he's received so much hate after losing one fight. Let's face it, he was all over the first round. He nailed him. Second round, he let cockiness get the best of him. He paid the price, he stood up admitted defeat and has moved on preparing for his next fight. He has talent, no denying that. He's world class, it's only a matter of time before the world feels his wrath once more. His spirits are high and his self belief is beyond belief. Dude has my respect. He's a champion.

not really. Mcgregor vs Diaz was the last UFC fight. The next one is this weekend, hunt vs mir. Besides, many just tuned in for the mcgregor fight since there was so much hype around him. Those arent really UFC fans

Yeah, I only follow Conor to be honest. I mean he has boosted the UFC views and attendances.

I used to watch when Chuck Lidell was fighting.
