What type of PC is it. You can restore it back to factory settings.

Malwarebytes has always been my favorite.
It is free for 30 days. (Just reinstall after 30 days)

If you have some really bad viruses this is not going to work, nor is any "pc cleaner"
This is when it is best to just reinstall windows.

Give more details maybe?
For general cleaning CCleaner is quite good. If you also have some malware start by using MBAM(as said above), and AdwCleaner - they clean most of the usual infections.

I agree with Ark, CCleaner is what I mainly use for cleaning my PC. If there's anywhere where you could get a disc reinstalling might be a better option for you too just because everything is new and you won't have to worry about their files and things like that, because you did say you bought it off someone. No idea why they didn't do that for you though..

Avast Free
Hitman Pro
ADWCleaner
Malware-Bytes ( Hitman Pro is better)

You don't need anything more unless you purposely download malware n other internet shit.
