I didn't know if this was the forum to post in, but I need some help.
Yesterday when I finished work my Mum told me that our dog (Roly) had to be put down. When we got Roly he was just born and I was only 4 years old, and we grew up together and I am now 19. I saw him every single day and I loved him so much, so to find out his time had came and we had to take him to the vets and it completely killed me inside.
I don't know how to get through this pain of not having my best friend with me anymore. I came home from work early today and he wasn't in his favorite spot, it felt strange and sad knowing I will never see him again. the house feels empty without him.

It always sucks to lose someone you love. Dogs are like family and feels just as bad. Sorry for your loss man, he'll always be in his favorite spot and in your heart!

Losses like this hit straight to the heart.
A dog is a mans best friend.
Well you can say any animal can be.
You'll never get over a pet that you loved and cared for deeply but will have to think of all the good memories you guys shared together and you should know he wouldn't want you to beat yourself up man.
Take some time to cope and see if getting another pet is suitable for the family. Like I said it will take some time but I know how hard it is and will be as I've lost numerous pets way too soon than they should have but you'll soon heal.
Be together as a family once again sorry for your loss
