So my kids just got a new Xbox One. I've resorted to strictly downloading games rather than buying hard copies due to the discs getting ruined..
Anywho, we downloaded Black Ops3 yesterday. My son freaked out because we forgot to check if the Nuketown Map was included with the download. Good news though, Nuketown was included as well as some other maps.
So they're sitting here right now trying to play the Nuketown map and we can't find it ANYWHERE. It is not listed in the maps list for multilayer.
I Google how to play Nuketown and im seeing links about it only being available to gamers that preorder the game? If so, why did it say Nuketown was downloading with the game?
I'm also seeing something about Nuketown being in some rotation? Is that with the Arena play? And what is Chaos Moshpit or something? And where can I access that? I read that it may be located there
Sorry If these are all stupid questions but im not a gamer...I'm just a mother who's trying to figure this out for her kids.
Thank you in advance for anyone that answers at least one of my questions!!

The Nuketown map is available for people who either preordered the game or got the digital deluxe edition. If your Black Ops 3 came in a disk then the Nuketown download code may be inside of the case it came in. Another reason it may not work might be because the account you bought it on needs to be either signed in or needs you to activate the Home Xbox feature.


(Home Xbox is in the settings in the system tab.)

I hope you fix the problem you are having with your Black Ops 3 game.

Try going into a custom game lobby and change map to the nuketown map (think you will find it under bonus maps).. this will check to see if you have it installed and ready to play. If you cannot see it/ play it, you haven't got it installed and you should probably contact xbox/microsoft.

If you can play it, to play the map on multiplayer you will need to search for the chaos moshpit gamemode, this will contain a collection of smaller maps including nuketown. Also, look out for another gamemode called Nuketown 24/7- this gamemode playlist comes out periodically, usually along with double XP weekends and can be found under the chaos moshpit playlist, this will be a playlist consisting of ONLY nuketown.
