Long story:
Short: I want a computer that can handle gaming really well like GTA V looks good (Just a benchmark)
But I also want it to be able to render 3D well
Main point:
Do I get a Xeon or i7?
Okay so I have a rough idea of the pc I want to build but I'm not sure on a few parts
I work as a graphic designer (my signature was not made by me)
So I mainly use photoshop and illustrator on my current computer but I use Cinema 4D also and my current computer just can't render, it takes hours and it often gets extremely hot

You should look at going X99 and getting a 6c12t i7 rather than what I am assuming is a Skylake Xeon/i7 as long as your budget can handle it.

Same processor, most Xeon's don't have graphics onboard whereas most i7's do. With the latest LGA1151 (Skylake) platform I don't think you can put Xeon's on normal desktop boards anymore, so you'd either need a more workstation board or an i7 and any old board.

Same as what Shittle said, look into X99 but then this all depends on your budget as well.

10/10 can vouch for X99, my 5820K works a dream in any 3D work and rendering.

I think this is determined by budget.
I decided between i7-4790k and Intel Xeon 1231 v3.
At the time the price different was roughly $100 so I grabbed a Xeon because it has no Integrated Graphics(pro for me) cheaper(pro) draws out less power(pro).
I don't have both so I can't compare the two but I'm happy with my CPU and gets the job done quick and efficient with Video Editing and 3D rendering.
It's all on your budget
