My current TV/Monitor has now got terrible water marks on since an accident :O

Thinking to just get a new one instead of paying for repairs. Looking for a pretty decent quality one with speakers.

Any recommendations?

Don't get anything over 60hz because games on any of the consoles wont go above 60 fps, yes even the PS4. lol

If I were you I would go with the BenQ RL2455HM. The colors are great once you get it adjusted to how you like and there's two hdmi ports in case you want to plug something else into the monitor down the line. You can also get the 27 inch version of it for $80, not sure how good a deal that is but....

Get anything which is 1080p and is the cheapest. Consoles do not offer as good enough experience to warrant spending a lot of money (not flaming just fact).

I'd just get one of these;

£100 is decent for a monitor and this is a very good one. A console won't need a monitor like this, but at the end of the day it's not expensive and will be good if you got a PC to use with it later.

Why you would want to waste money on a overpriced shitty BenQ monitor is beyond me.

Most BenQ monitors are TN where as that AOC one is IPS. IPS>TN.

I cant really put a specific recommendation out there, but I know that the pro scene uses (or used) some benQ monitors.

Lets have a chat about BenQ shall we;

Pro's use them because they are sponsers of their tournaments, similar to how you'd be if EVGA offered you a 980Ti for free if you told everyone you liked it and were a social media influencer. They use the same technology as all the other monitors but have extreme markup, they are the Apple of the monitor world.

For a PC a BenQ monitor is overpriced because it does not offer anything of value, lower response time doesn't mean everything and more often than not, a nice IPS display will offer a larger difference most of the time.

So in conclusion for your console, get a 1080p IPS one like doot suggested as thats all the Xbox needs. It cannot display above 60hz anyway and response time is not an issue for it because the gaming experience isn't good anyway.

Love, Boxty.
