I hate to admit it but I cant believe modding is dying out.I obviously know that it wasn't going to last for ever but its just gone so quick, I remember when WaW and CoD4 was extremely popular and people will be paying like $10 for a menu and mw2 lobbys was going for roughly around $70....man those were good times but know WaW lobbys gets no one on joining and CoD4 gets around 2 people so does mw2 lobbys.Modding in its prime days were just the best, Tu6 Lobbys On Mw2 && CoD4 Dev Tangy Menus And Infections.

I personally think if many people got the word around modding may come back, sure its not the good old tu6 days but Microsoft are too important on XB1 so ban rates are just too low.Soon enough there will be JTAG'd And RGH'd XB1's but that probably won't happen for ages most likely when the 360 servers gets shut down.

This is kinda a rant && kinda me talking on behalf of other modders.

That font is really hurting my eyes.

If you want to keep up with modding come to PC, not dead here a bit.

Famous wrote Don't worry, I personally think modding will return with Xbox One.

I don't.

I am glad the companies are cracking down on modding and what not. Sure, when I was younger it was a lot of fun to have hacks on the 360 and walls and aim-bot and all that good stuff, but me being a more causal gamer now than what I was then, it really annoys me and pisses me off to find that kind of thing going on in public matches and shit.

Shit is fine in private matches with you friends and what not though. And friendly mods like adding more to a game or new textures and things like that are also fine. Just not annoyances like walls and aimbot, etc etc

Yeah modding was amazing while it lasted, I wish it could happen again but I guess we are just gonna have to figure it out our selves.

Modding is slowly dying yes. But I know a few people recently buying RGH's/J-Tags Myself being one of them. And I think it's only dying on this site because maybe the modders have left? Possibly joined another site or something. Since the W@W/COD4/MW2 days, TTG have gotten strict on the modding side of things. Sticky topics were earnt not bought. Now you also MUST show proof etc. Never had to do that before. Times change. But the good things always come back in my opinion. So the modding isn't over yet. By far it isn't over.

JTHM wrote Yeah, the golden days of modding. Sad to see it die down though, as I really enjoyed hosting Godly Mods on that TU6

Best days ever

Wow man I use to do that also, And I personally still talk to Godly.
He's not nodding any more though, he's just chilling enjoying life

Damn, his patches were amazing. Heard he was a vlogger now or something?

Modding Xbox really should die off and make room for some other things. It's been around for long enough and has had it's good days. but it's all old hat now. Not exciting. Now it just annoys the shit out of me.

Like mentioned above, if it's kept to private matches, i have no problems with it, but in public, just go away.

But hey, if it does I would care either way, I haven't played on a console for a good 2 years now, so i don't have the 12 year old modders telling me they screwed my mum...

Next Gen consoles are now much harder to modify, there will eventually be modding like the good old days eventually though.

I can agree and say that it's sad to see the modding scene die down a lot, but it was always going to happen.

I remember back in 2011 when TU7 came out on MW2 and a TTG member basically made history by bypassing it while everyone only had binary hacks, and he was bossing out final tree patch online. His username was Eaton, those were the days, it was $80 for a 30 minute lobby with your friends.

I truly miss those days but oh well... it will be back.

Hard to keep modding alive when the Xbox One and PS4 is almost completely unmoddable.

Modding will come back. Just gonna take a few more months/years.
