Well it's Rant Time !
So I heard some people online talking about the topic "Activision stole the whole combat knife idea from CS:GO" First of all, I honestly do think that Activison got the idea from CS:GO but I heard a couple of opinion's and wanted to know what some other people think.

Combat Knives have been used before video Games. That, is HISTORICAL FACTUAL proof. It's like saying Activision stole the pistol idea from CS:GO. Lol. Weapons are weapons. Now, if they stole real stuff. Animations, Textures, Dialogue, etc..Yeah. I don't know if they have, though. I doubt it, however.

I assume you think that just because project cars has a cockpit view that it must be a rip off of forza too
Or that since battlefield has guns its a rip off of cod
or that because runescape is a medieval mmo that its a rip off of WoW
or that army or two is a rip off of gears of war since they both have guns and are 3rd person shooters..
Just because a game has similar things in it doesn't mean they stole the idea. There is nothing new under the sun my friend. Now if animations, skins etc were directly taken from CS:GO and brought into cod yeah that would be a different story.

I have to agree with what the two users above me said.
Also, they might have gotten the idea from CounterStrike, but even if they did, what does it really matter? I think it is cool we can inspect our knives and what not now. Nice addition in my book.
