OMP wrote I'd invest your money into a motor out exhaust or simply get a tune.

I already have several mods done, axle back exhaust, BBK headers, and a H-pipe. The only other mods I want to do is Get a CAI and a tune.

I would grab a throttle body too. Mine mad a difference on my 03gt.

If it restricts airflow, fix that problem, don't go get a whole new intake that will draw hot air lol. My truck has restricted air flow too because they used a rubber fitting that had a 2 or 2.5" hole but I could go all the way up to 3", so I took that think out and put a piece of 3" PVC pipe in there and that so far has been my best performance mod. Look up the "gotts mod", maybe there is a write up for your car.

If you do purchase an intake, that working in conjunction with your tune (if reflashed for the intake) and your exhaust you will probably notice a difference. Nothing major but you will.

Yeah, I went ahead and got the JLT intake system and after the tune and everything, I notice a major difference than instead of without it.

Well hey, that's good. Don't let people knock cold air intakes. If you run the right setup and get the right stuff they do indeed make a difference.

These guys and their bullshit little four bangers never understand why they don't see a difference...

I can guarantee you any difference you felt was due to tuning.

EDIT:
There are MULTIPLE videos just like this one proving CAI's don't do anything.

You wouldn't agree that based on the specific application and the rest of the mods, an intake would cause an increase? Even a minuscule one?

Minuscule gains aren't going to get you anywhere. You will not feel the extra 2-3 HP that you may or may not gain.

If you want cheap power, stop looking at CAI's. Weight is what kills your power, the more weight in your car, the slower it goes. Take out 100 lbs of stuff and you will see a difference. Buy two 60 lbs pound bags of concrete (about 5 dollars), and put that in your trunk. You will notice that your car will be slower.
