002 wrote Lol ok, you'll mature some day. You need to modify a diesel to roll coal, and it's illegal.

You can roll coal in a gasser, you just need a bad head gasket lol.

If papa told you gassers aren't real trucks, he doesn't sound like a real smart man to me lol.

That's not rollin coal thats having a **** up car lo

I have a 89 with 727 Trans in it which is only a speed that used to be put behind the motors in the chargers challengers and what not so not very hefty for the amount of torque I'm throwing at it only around 650-675 ft lbs so I wasn't very surprised when a 200k tranny fell on its face after a 20psi launch but if I wasn't dumb and put that power to the wheels without upgrading the clutches in it probably would've lasted a few more years but these trucks are the ones that give the dodge transmissions a bad rap a 727 is a 3 speed auto (aka junk) not very well geared unless you're pulling 24/7 and even then it's still pretty trashy no top speed not very good at delivering power easily and very very very easy to blow when you start upgrading performance wise most of what you have heard about dodge transmissions is been about the 727 and it's because they had a good motor but not a good tranny to back it up and what's a motor without a good tranny? A paper weight.
