Do you need a monitor, KB, or mouse?
Use of PC?
If gaming, what games?
Will you be overclocking?
Speakers, headset, etc?

Little bit over, if you wanted to save some you could drop the HDD and add one later on, or you could drop the 850 Evo and get [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] SSD instead.

Now featuring a PSU

Well I mean there's only so much you can do for £550. I guess you could really cheap out on the motherboard, squeeze out a lower end i5 and try to get a 970 instead of a 380?

But the 380 is cheaper? I dont get what you're saying here. Plus, you can do quite a bit for 500 GBP.

If you wanted a 970 within budget, you'd have to get an i3 instead of the i5, and drop the SSD. It'd just be impractical IMO. Plus, it's almost 2016, every rig deserves an SSD and there's no valid excuse for not having one at this point.
