Can anyone explain the situation with buying fifa point account? Is it pretty much illegal? Or is it safe to buy them? Because I was gonna buy one for toty coming up in January but if there is a big chance of getting a console ban or an account ban I might not do it can someone give any advice on this or what not?

It is technically fraud, you would be an accessory to the crime buy purchasing one.
being console banned is becoming more and more likely due to our cybersecurity team working on putting an end to these Fifa point account sellers.

It is fraud and honestly not worth the risk of console ban.

But there is no way to prove one way or another that the name on the account is who actually is playing on the account.

I don't understand what you mean? You can see the console ID underneath the gamertag when we check it via our systems.
When you get console banned the account itself is not banned, just the console.
